Job Description:
Scripps Clinic Medical Group (SCMG) is a multi-specialty group
with just over 1000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians
serving San Diego and the surrounding region. Established more than
50 years ago, it is recognized as one of the premier medical groups
in the country and boasts an excellent reputation in over 60
medical and surgical specialties.General Description Seeking a
Board Certified (American Board of Dermatology) Dermatologist to be
a part of our growing dermatology division. The successful
candidate will hold an MD degree followed by an ACGME accredited
dermatology residency program. Experience in medical dermatology
diagnosis and treatment. Sub-specialists or candidates with
specific sub-specialty interest (hair loss, vulvovaginal disorders,
or other sub-specialty expertise) are encouraged to apply. We have
9 geographic locations and the candidate would be predominately at
one location. There is minimal in-patient call. We have over 30
division members and offer opportunities for resident teaching,
academic pursuits, and research as desired by the candidate. The
successful candidate will have expertise in quality patient care,
education, and research.
Key ResponsibilitiesHaving a specific field of interest within
dermatology (adult, hair disorders, immunobullous, collagen
vascular disorders, interest in research or education) is
preferred. We have an established dermatology group within the
Scripps system and have 9 distinct outpatient sites throughout San
Diego county. Skills/ ExperiencePost-residency experience of
greater than 3 years is preferred for most positions.
