Ensures preventative maintenance is performed on all medical equipment in compliance with established quality controls, codes and standards. Directs to the activities of the biomedical technicians, including selecting, training/orienting and scheduling. Contact vendors for maintenance and repair services.Job RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement:Associate or Bachelor degree required.Minimum Experience Requirement:Ten (10) years of experience as a biomedical engineering technician with at least five (5) years supervisory experience required. Excellent customer service skills required.Minimum License Requirement:Current California Driver's license. Must be 21 years of age or older; must have two (2) years of continuous driving experience in the state of California. If a license is suspended, the experience record begins from the time of license reinstatement; must have no major convictions (ie DUI/DWI, hit and run, driving with suspended license, reckless driving, eluding police, open containers, exhibition of speed (racing), negligent driving); must have no more than one (1) moving citation in a three (3) year period; must have no more than one (1) at-fault accident in a three (3) year period. Accidents will be considered at-fault unless evidence is provided (ie police report and/or letter from insurance company) showing the incident as not at-fault. Anesthesia Manufacturer certified. Manufacturers Ventilator certification. Manufacturer certified on Telemetry/Patient monitoring systems.Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.Pay Range:$52.77 - $82.33
