Sr. Manager, Real Estate Counsel$150,000 plus bonusHybrid remote in Santa MonicaThe Sr. Manager, Real Estate Counsel position at a national real estate company involves preparing, drafting, and negotiating commercial leases, purchase agreements, and various legal documents. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, a law degree, and be admitted to practice law.Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, drafting, and negotiating commercial leases, ground leases, purchase and sale agreements, NDAs, amendments to reciprocal easement agreements, brokerage agreements, and ancillary agreements, and reviewing LOIs.
• Researching and summarizing rights and obligations related to the aforementioned documents.
• Reviewing and providing legal analysis of shopping center documents, including leases, operating agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, and other contracts.
• Managing the flow of all such documentation from inception to execution and distribution.
• Ensuring information in the Tracking Database is updated and accurate per standard procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, including new development projects, leasing, and transactional real estate matters.
• Law degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law.
• Must satisfy Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) requirements to maintain active license to practice law.
• Experience in real estate transfer documentation and retail/commercial leasing required.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.The company emphasizes a positive work culture, valuing diversity, inclusivity, and equity.
